John N. Wilking

John Wilking is president and founder of NEVILLE COMPANIES INC.

John has over twenty years of professional real estate management experience handling commercial and residential property throughout New England.  He has spent nearly all of those years directing and operating management and brokerage companies holding primary responsibility for growth, policies and profit.

John has managed a career portfolio valued at more than $750 Million and holds the highest professional designation in the real estate management field as a Certified Property Manager (CPM).  This designation is awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management, an arm of the National Association of Realtors, and held by only 7,500 individuals in the U.S.   Further, John is the one of only two practicing Certified Property Managers in the State of Vermont.

John is a licensed Vermont and New Hampshire real estate broker, 1995 - 1997 President of the Chittenden Commercial Real Estate Association, and is one of the most active commercial and investment brokers in our region.  John has also received the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).  This designation is awarded by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, which is also an arm of the National Association of REALTORS, and held by only 4,500 of the 80,000 commercial REALTORS in the United States.   John is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

John Wilking is one of only a handful of professionals in the country to hold both the CPM & CCIM designations.

John Wilking is a 1981 honors graduate of St. Lawrence University and has an extensive background in architecture and construction.  John is married, has two children and lives in South Burlington, Vermont.  John is also President of the Rotary Club of South Burlington for the 2004-2005 Centennial Year.
